It is a great opportunity to recognise the many veterinary professionals worldwide contributing to building a better world for everyone’s health and demonstrate the significance of our profession to the public.
This year the World Veterinary Day is dedicated to diversity, equity and inclusiveness. In a diverse society, there has to be a particular focus on removing barriers and enhancing inclusivity through the implementation of inclusion, equality, and diversity policies. The promotion of such policies improves the wellbeing of all veterinarians. Here at the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) we demonstrate dedication to these values on a daily basis and encourage you to follow us in your every day work.
The WOAH supports veterinarians around the world since the day it was founded in 1924 and will continue to assist you in protecting animal health and welfare, supporting safe trade, maintaining food security and safety and preserve the environment for the future generations and will help you both in facing new challenges and in your standard working processes.
