The 4th meeting of the GF-TADs for Europe took place on January 26-27 2012, in the premises of AFSCA in Brussels/Belgium. The meeting was chaired by the President of the GF-TADs for Europe, Dr B. Van Goethem and attended by 50 participants including the Director General of OIE, Dr B. Vallat.
The objectives of the meeting were to/
- review the epidemiological situation in the Region as well as the prevention and control measures put in place with regards to regional priority diseases, and also to emerging diseases (Schmallenberg)
- discuss the draft 5-year Action Plan of the GF-TADs for Europe, as recommended during the previous meeting of the Regional Steering Committee (see Recommendation #1 of the RSC3).
