News from the Director General, WOAH
I am pleased to inform you that I have taken a decision to appoint Dr Estelle Hamelin as WOAH Sub-Regional Representative in Brussels, Belgium with effect from 15 September 2022. Dr Hamelin has been acting in this position for a few months and has demonstrated the qualities required for the position. Dr Hamelin will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Sub Regional Representation, implementing WOAH`s capacity building programme for its Members in Europe and in liaison with the European Commission’s relevant Directorate-Generals on animal health matters.
