The Quadripartite’s activities under the Pandemic Fund continue to align with the Workplan of the European Regional One Health Coordination Mechanism. From 22 to 24 January 2025, a Joint Risk Assessment (JRA) workshop was held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, bringing together specialized professionals from the public health, animal health, environmental health, and emergency response sectors.
The workshop followed the guidelines of the Joint Risk Assessment Operational Tool (JRA-OT), a Tripartite operational framework for conducting joint risk assessments. Through structured group discussions, participants evaluated preparedness, prevention, and response measures for salmonellosis and brucellosis, identifying key actions to enhance intersectoral coordination. The workshop also included risk source mapping, risk management strategy development, and communication planning to improve risk mitigation efforts.
Beyond the technical discussions, the event fostered professional networking, with participants expressing enthusiasm for continued collaboration on One Health-related initiatives.
