A short meeting of the Regional Core Group (RCG3) was held on 21 May 2017, to prepare for the OIE 85th General Session. On the occasion:
- the common positions/Speaking Notes, on behalf of the 53 Member Countries of Europe, were agreed on the 9 selected OIE Chapters proposed for adoption to the World Assembly of Delegates;
- the ‘speakers’ (Delegates) to take the floor on behalf of the 53 Member Countries of Europe at the time of the adoption of the OIE Chapters were selected;
- three Technical Items for both the 28th Conference of the Regional Commission for Europe and the 87th OIE General Sessions were agreed (to be proposed for discussion during the meeting of the Regional Commission for Europe on the next day)
