Representatives of the national Veterinary Services of Kazakhstan, the Republican Veterinary Laboratory, and the National Reference Centre for Veterinary, together with partners from the WHO and FAO Country Offices, gathered to express their heartfelt condolences to Dr Latini’s family and to honour his life and professional legacy.
Participants shared their memories of Dr Latini, highlighting his outstanding expertise, dedication, and his significant contribution to strengthening veterinary systems and advancing the One Health approach in the region.
In addition, the national Veterinary Services of Central Asia conveyed their condolences to the WOAH Sub-Regional Representation for Central Asia, reflecting the deep respect and recognition Dr Latini earned across the region.
Dr Latini’s legacy will continue to inspire colleagues and partners in their joint efforts to promote animal health, public health, and international cooperation.
