The first external evaluation of the Platform was conducted in January – April 2019. The evaluation examined the Platform’s relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, and contribution towards impact when implementing the first and the second Action Plans to date. It is a qualitative study based on individual interviews, a survey and a desk review. The findings from the evaluation of the Platform on Animal Welfare for Europe conducted in 2019 are presented in the evaluation report.
