Региональный учебный семинар 6-го цикла для национальных координаторов по диким животным по Европе прошел в Варшаве, Польша, 27–29 июня 2023 года. В мероприятии приняли участие 43 человека, в том числе 33 национальных координатора по диким животным. Целью данного семинара было предоставление знаний о последних обновлениях ВОЗЖ относительно здоровья диких животных, предоставление возможностей для обмена опытом, а также обсуждение систем эпиднадзора и управления болезнями диких животных. Центр сотрудничества ВОЗЖ по дикой природе, Национальный центр здоровья дикой природы Геологической службы США, провел экспертное обучение, поддержанное учебным пособием 6-го цикла по управлению информацией о здоровье дикой природы.
Участники семинара узнали больше об управлении болезнями диких животных и передовой практике, включая системный подход к управлению болезнями. Семинар объединил серию презентаций экспертов из центров сотрудничества ВОЗЖ и национальных координаторов, ряд упражнений, включая демонстрацию настольной игры ALERT, и посещение фермы по разведению оленей.
Встреча предоставила прекрасную возможность укрепить контакты путем обмена опытом и дискуссий между участниками, а также создать сеть по охране здоровья диких животных на региональном уровне. ВОЗЖ выражает огромную благодарность Европейскому Союзу и Италии за финансирование мероприятия, а также Генеральной ветеринарной инспекции Польши за любезную поддержку организации и проведение этого мероприятия.
