Our Platform on Animal Welfare for Europe was created in 2013, with a view to improving animal welfare all across Europe. It provides a sustainable collaboration mechanism for regional activities to support and empower Veterinary Services to take action and implement our standards on animal welfare. The Platform is governed by a Steering Group, under the supervision of the Regional Commission for Europe. The Secretariat of the Platform is ensured by the Sub-Regional representation in Brussels.
